Teachers from all countries will benefit greatly from this experience.
You receive free simple accommodation. You are responsible for your travel, insurance, a contribution of £1500 for the food catering and maintenance of the workplace. Transport from and to the airport will be provided by Dewe School. The School will also organise trips to some amazing places such as the western Rift Valley, the source of the Nile, Queen Elizabeth National Park etc.
Art materials such as wood, clay and stones will be provided. We regret we do not have a great range of power tools. Please contact the school for more information on this subject.

SPONSORING A CHILD

Sponsoring a child from Dewe village to go to school.

Dewe School of Art and Environmental Science has pledged its support to fifty-two children from the village. We want to be able to offer them clothing, bed sheets and school equipment.

A child needs financial support of £300 a year to attend a good school. This amount should cover school fees over three terms, general living expenses and transport to and from school.

At present some of these children attend different schools, the majority of them being quite a distance away.

We are looking for people who would be willing support these children.

Dewe School will be responsible for making sure that the funds received will be allocated to the appropriate authorities also ensuring that the communication between the child, sponsor and the school is maintained.

FUTURE PLANS

At the present time we are in the process of setting up our own Nursery School and Kindergarten with the intention to continue to Primary School.
